Custom Ubiquiti UniFi systems designed, wired, and built properly, with clean infrastructure, strong backbone planning, and long-term reliability in mind.

Custom UniFi Systems, Designed Around Your Property

Unifi System Installation and Design on Long Island | Clean wires, organized rack

UniFi has built a loyal following for a reason. It gives users visibility, control, and a powerful ecosystem for networking, cameras, access control, and more. But enjoying the Ubiquiti UniFi interface is not the same as knowing how to architect a clean, reliable, high-performance system.

That is where Perfect Angle comes in.

We do far more than install access points.

Our work starts with UniFi network design and installation, building out complete systems based on how your property is laid out and how it’s actually used. Every project is different, so the infrastructure is planned accordingly from the beginning.

Unifi System Installation and Design on Long Island | Clean wires, organized rack

We design the network architecture first. That includes backbone planning, structured wiring, and cable routing so everything is positioned correctly before equipment even goes in.

From there, we build out the physical system. Rack design and rack building, patch panel termination, and clean cable organization are all handled in-house. Everything is labeled and laid out with intention so the system is easy to service and expand later.

Once the infrastructure is in place, we move into deployment. Gateways, switches, and access points are installed based on real coverage needs, not guesswork. For larger homes and estates, we incorporate fiber interconnects, SFP and SFP+ uplinks, and high-speed backbone planning to maintain consistent performance across multiple structures.

On the configuration side, we handle VLAN and subnet planning, UniFi programming, and full system setup so devices operate independently and the network performs well under load.

For properties that require it, we also design dual-WAN networks for failover and reliability, along with remote access and support options.

Whether you are looking for a Unifi System Design and installation on Long Island for a single residence or a multi-building estate in the Hamptons, the system is built around how the property functions, not just where equipment can be placed.

Real-world infrastructure problems we solve

A lot of UniFi systems look fine at first glance. Devices show online, WiFi connects, the dashboard lights up the way it should.

The issues usually show up underneath.

We’ve taken over Unifi systems across Long Island and the Hamptons where the infrastructure was never designed properly, just extended. One of the properties we worked at had a detached structure sitting too far from the main house, but instead of planning around that distance, everything was pushed over copper. The result was a connection that struggled to get past 100 Mbps.

At that point, it’s not a settings issue, it’s a design problem.

We redesigned the system around fiber interconnects, SFP-capable switching, and a proper aggregation strategy, giving that structure the bandwidth it should have had from the start.

That same project had other issues layered in. Gate boxes that were wired without structure, weak coverage between buildings, and conduit paths that limited what could be done without rethinking the layout entirely.

That’s the difference between installing Ubiquiti UniFi hardware and actually handling UniFi network design and installation.

We regularly step into systems where buildings are spaced too far apart for reliable copper, where coverage drops between structures, or where racks and terminations make servicing unnecessarily difficult. In many cases, there was no planning for fiber, no backbone strategy, and no consideration for how the system would expand over time.

Fixing it means rebuilding the foundation.

We run fiber through existing pathways where possible, replace switches with hardware that can actually support the network, centralize the system with a proper aggregation approach, and redesign coverage so it performs consistently across the entire property.

From there, we plan forward, not just for what’s there today, but for additional structures, devices, and future expansion.

That’s how a UniFi system is supposed to be built.

Clean AV Rack Builds

Open the rack and everything is clearly labeled, properly terminated, and laid out with intention. Each connection is easy to identify, and every component is accessible without disrupting the system.

Fiber & High-Speed Backbones

When distance or layout calls for it, we design around fiber from the start. Long runs between structures are handled with the proper modules and hardware, so performance stays consistent across the property.

VLAN & Network Structure

Your network is structured so cameras, WiFi, TVs, and work devices operate independently. Traffic is organized intentionally, so one part of the system doesn’t interfere with another.

Multi-Building Connectivity

Properties with multiple structures are designed as a single system. Each building is mapped and connected with the appropriate infrastructure so coverage and performance remain consistent throughout.

Built for the UniFi enthusiast

• We build custom UniFi systems for clients who want the UniFi experience done properly, with clean infrastructure, thoughtful design, and optional ongoing support.

• Tech-forward homeowners and businesses who want visibility and control, plus existing UniFi owners who need cleanup, expansion, or a smarter long-term plan.

Some clients choose Ubiquiti UniFi because they genuinely like it. They want the clean rack, the matching hardware, the dashboard visibility, the VLAN structure, the bandwidth data, and the ability to interact with the system after installation.

We understand that client.

We’ve worked on everything from smaller UniFi setups for homeowners who just want a clean, reliable system, to larger residential properties across Long Island and the Hamptons that require a more involved network build, we are talking enterprise grade.

On those larger projects, the infrastructure starts to look very different. We’re dealing with 10 gig backbones, 2.5 gig switching for modern WiFi deployments, fiber-fed outbuildings, and centralized aggregation, all designed to support how the property is actually used day to day.

That often includes connecting remote structures, extending coverage across outdoor areas, and planning for gates, perimeter systems, and long-distance links that go beyond what a typical residential network can handle.

The physical side matters just as much. Rack layouts are built with intention, labeled properly, and structured so they can be accessed and maintained without turning into a project every time something needs to be adjusted.

In some cases, standard hardware doesn’t quite fit the space or the vision. We’ve customized rack setups to match both the technical requirements and the look the client is going for (the rack shown in the pictures was powder coated white as per customer request), without compromising how the system functions.

This type of work tends to attract a few specific types of client.

Some are already familiar with Ubiquiti UniFi and want their system designed and installed the right way from the beginning. Others enjoy managing their own systems and want a clean, well-structured setup they can actually understand and work with.

We also work with property owners who care about how everything is put together, not just that it turns on. Clean racks that look and function flawlessly, organized wiring, and infrastructure that supports networking, cameras, access control, and the rest of the UniFi ecosystem as one system.

And then there are the clients who already have a UniFi system in place, but it needs attention. Maybe it was installed years ago, maybe it was rushed, or maybe it just wasn’t designed with the full property in mind.

In those cases, we step in, clean it up, expand it where needed, and rebuild the parts that are holding it back.

The kind of things that make UniFi people smile

We have also pushed the ecosystem into some fun real-world workflows. On one project, we used a UniFi gate controller to operate a garage door with a G3 Reader Pro, creating a cleaner access experience while keeping it inside the UniFi environment.

We can also use an LPR-based workflow to trigger garage access – when an authorized vehicle pulls in, the system recognizes the license plate and opens the gate or garage automatically, no remote or keypad needed. and when a client wants deeper automation we can tie that event into a control system such as Control4 or Crestron Automation so the driveway lights, garage lights, or other scenes respond automatically.

That same approach can extend to the rest of the property, including camera viewing through wall-mounted touch screens and other integrated control experiences. In other words, we are not just installing gear. We are designing how the property responds.

Ubiquiti Unifi System Design & Installation | Beyond Networking

A properly designed UniFi network on Long Island or in the Hamptons goes well beyond WiFi.

The network is the foundation, but once it’s built correctly, everything else starts to tie into it. Cameras, access control, remote management, and how you interact with the property all run through the same system.

On the networking side, that means full-property coverage that’s planned around the layout of the home, not just where signal happens to reach. Access points are placed intentionally, roaming is handled correctly, and the system is designed to support how the space is actually used.

From there, UniFi opens up a lot more.

Surveillance is handled through UniFi Protect, where cameras can detect people and vehicles, track motion accurately, and give you a clear view of what’s happening across the property without constant false alerts.

Access control through UniFi Access ties directly into that same system. Gates and doors can be triggered based on credentials, schedules, or even events like a recognized vehicle approaching the property.

Everything lives in one interface.

You can open the app and see your network, cameras, and access points all in one place. Check activity, review footage, unlock a door, or monitor the system remotely without jumping between platforms.

That’s where UniFi stands out.

It’s not just a network installation, it’s a system where networking, security, and control are all connected and built on the same infrastructure.

Choosing Perfect Angle AV for Your UniFi System

We’ve taken over a lot of UniFi projects across Long Island and the Hamptons that all started the same way, someone else installed it… and then disappeared.

Sometimes it’s an AV company, sometimes it’s a “UniFi expert.” Either way, the result is usually the same. The system is half-finished, things don’t work the way they should, and the client is left trying to figure it out with no real support.

That’s honestly one of the biggest things we hear. It’s hard to find someone who actually knows UniFi and sticks around.

A lot of our clients come to us after dealing with exactly that. Some found us through word of mouth, others through one of our Hamptons projects that ended up on Reddit. If that’s how you found us, welcome, you already know what we’re about.

When we step into these systems, we see everything. Messy racks, spaghetti wiring, poorly planned networks, setups that technically run but fall apart once you start using them the way they were intended.

That’s the difference. UniFi is powerful, but only if it’s built properly from the start.

At this point, we’re comfortable saying we’re one of the go-to UniFi installers on Long Island and the Hamptons, not just because we know the platform, but because we stay involved. We don’t disappear once the system is up and running.

We understand how important this is. This isn’t just WiFi, it’s your entire network, your cameras, your access, your property.

From one tech nerd to another, we got you.

Common Questions About Unifi System Installation

Already have a UniFi System?

If you already have a UniFi system, we can step in and evaluate what’s there. In many cases, it’s not about starting over, it’s about improving what already exists.
We work with clients across Long Island who need help with poor WiFi coverage, rack cleanup, wiring reorganization, and connectivity issues between buildings, gates, or access control systems. We also handle programming cleanup, troubleshooting, and service support when the system isn’t performing the way it should.
In some situations, the right move is upgrading infrastructure, like replacing long copper runs with fiber or redesigning parts of the network. In others, the system can be cleaned up, stabilized, and made reliable without a full rebuild.

Need more than a network?

We’re not just handling UniFi network installations. Many of our projects involve the full technology scope of a property. That includes racks, cameras, and access control, but also audio systems, TV mounting and display installation, smart home integration, and outdoor entertainment setups.

For clients working on larger properties, we can also handle outdoor lighting and low-voltage infrastructure as part of the same project.

If you want one team that can coordinate and execute everything, from networking to integrated systems, we’re set up to handle it.

Manage it yourself or keep us involved?

Is UniFi the right fit?

UniFi is not the right solution for everyone. It tends to be a strong fit for clients who enjoy technology, want visibility into their system, and are comfortable having some level of access or control over their network. It may not be the best choice for clients who prefer a fully managed setup with minimal involvement or who don’t want to think about networking at all. In those cases, there are other platforms that may be a better fit. We don’t force one system on every project. Our job is to recommend what makes sense for the client, the property, and the level of support expected after installation. If UniFi is the right fit, we build it the right way. If not, we guide you in a better direction.
